Presented by Dr. Craig Koester, professor of New Testament at Luther Seminary, this video series helps us discover Revelation's message of God's love and hope for the world, shrouded in symbolism, prophecy, conflict and fear. Mining the rich material from his popular course, workshops and books.
Koester's intimate, personal and direct explication makes for a dynamic and engaging learning experience. The teacher's mission: “I want you to believe all of what God wants you to believe about Revelation." Dr. Koester uses the rich histories of art and music to tell the story of the entire Book of Revelation. He examines the sensationalistic interpretations of Revelation and related apocalyptic theories, showing why these approaches are problematic.

Looking to make a difference in these trying times, the Janesville CROP Hunger Walk hopes help stop hunger and poverty here in our community and around the world, through self-help initiatives. Of the funds raised here in Janesville, 25% will remain in Janesville to assist ECHO food pantry to help local people in need.
$150.00 can provide 9 families with the tools, training and seeds to grow their own food. That is $16 per family.
This year Janesville and some 2,000 cities and towns nationwide are joining together in interfaith community CROP Hunger Walks around the theme "Ending hunger one step at a time." Many of the CROP Walkers will be wearing T-shirts, proclaiming their solidarity with the millions of neighbors around the world who have to walk to live -- as well as with the millions served by local food pantries, food banks, and meal sites here in the U.S. These local ministries share in the funds raised by CROP Hunger Walks.
Haiti is one part of the world where CROP Hunger Walks are making a big difference. In the aftermath of the killer earthquake, Church World Service was there with much-needed emergency assistance. With the recovery effort in full swing, CWS is helping families and communities to rebuild homes, food supplies and livelihoods.
CROP Hunger Walks also play a role in the U.S., helping communities ravaged by floods and tornadoes to recover.
The Janesville CROPWALK begins and ends at Cargill United Methodist Church. Can’t walk? Then Rock for Hunger in the comfort of your home.
